This is a real beauty. Stoneware clay distressed and lightly torched.
Some very nice cracks, well worth the price.
Stoneware clay with wood ash, soda ash, and other ingredients in the”glaze”. The bisque (the fired clay) is sprayed lightly with water, then the powdered glaze is patted on, then the piece is carefully set in the kiln.
Cork pad on the bottom.
Fine art, does not hold water.
