Stoneware clay distressed, torn and slightly torched.
“Glazed” with wood ash, soda ash, and other ingredients in the”glaze”. The bisque (the fired clay) is sprayed lightly with water, then the powdered glaze is patted on, then the piece is carefully set in the kiln.
Fine art. Will not hold water.
